TradingView Watchlist Grouping & Multi-Window Linked Scanning

TradingView watchlist grouping and linking illustration

A watchlist watches the known, but used well it doubles as a scanner. Watchlist 2.0 in 3.2 supports drag-to-group, inline sparklines and instant sync; with desktop linked windows, the workflow is different in kind.

Group and link

  1. Build groups by scenario — "Held / Watch / Strong / Coiling" — and drag to sort;
  2. Turn on inline sparklines to scan the shape of most names at a glance;
  3. Tear the watchlist into its own window on a side screen, in the same link group as the main chart — click a row, the main screen charts it.

A fixed routine

One pipeline after the close: run the screen, drop qualifiers into "Watch", chart each and cut, then mark levels and set alerts on survivors. Twenty minutes a day beats scrolling charts at random.

Tip: keep groups tight. A "Coiling" group of 20–30 names you each remember beats one list stuffed with 200 tickers.
